My role as your birth doula is to provide you with continuous non-judgmental, emotional, physical, and informational support in home, hospital, or birth center no matter what your birthing preferences or individual circumstances are. 

My doula services include:

  • A complimentary meet and greet, either in person or over the phone.

  • One or two prenatal visits where we focus on your birth preferences, preferred comfort techniques and labor positions, infant feeding support, and newborn/postpartum care.

  • Unlimited text/e-mail/phone support throughout your pregnancy and immediate postpartum period.

  • The on call period starting from 37 weeks onward.

  • Phone contact with you during early labor, and joining you once you decide you need my support, meeting you at your home, a birth center or the hospital depending on your preference.

  • Continuous support throughout labor and birth providing physical comfort, emotional support, and information to assist you in decision-making.

  • Support for your partner and any other support people, offering suggestions, information, assistance, and reassurance as needed.

  • Immediate postpartum support for 1-2 hours after your baby is born to assist with initiating breastfeeding (if needed/desired), and other early postpartum needs.

  • One postpartum visit at the hospital or your home within one week of your birth to review your birth experience, answer any questions you have, assist with breastfeeding or make appropriate referrals, assist with basic newborn care as needed/desired..
